This is an owner-operated and family-owned establishment. We enjoyed very friendly, wonderful service, the proprietors are happy to walk you through the menu making suggestions. Both the front staff and chef own the restaurant. The decor is all recycled and artsy. The food is simple yet creative and delicious with enough variety to satisfy all tastes. I got the mac & cheese balls and the pork stuffed mushrooms for appetizers, a steak skewer with portobello mushrooms (which was quite savory& flavorful); my wife had the chicken and bell pepper skewers with a thai-influenced peanut sauce. For dessert the sampler (3 ea. of bread pudding bites with white chocolate raspberry sauce, pumpkin bites with spiced orange drizzle, mochi bites with cinnamon caramel sauce, and poundcake bites with limeade glaze). I also had a small taste of the mulligatawny soup which had a nice curry flavor. None of the food was heavy but it was definitely filling. They also had an impressive coffee menu- espressos, cappuccinos, risetto. I settled on a delicious cappuccino and I learned it comes from a local roaster.
