Though you may not have heard of Erik “Blu2th” Griggs, virtually everyone on earth has heard him. This
Cleveland OH native is best known for his work as musician. He started playing the piano as a small child and has
picked up 4 more instruments (guitar, bass, drums, and organ) since then. He has made many musical contributions
He has recently released a Jazz single on all streaming platforms called PCH, a taste of the
album to come in 2022. He is currently the musical director for El DeBarge. You’re heard him on bass and keys with
Aretha Franklin, several instruments with Dr Dre, with whom he currently works on a regular basis, drums and
guitars with artist like Boyz II Men, After 7, and many more.

Erik has graced the stage with the likes of Take 6 and others, and you’ve heard his studio vocals on records
with artists like Anderson Paak… not to mention his own offerings as an artist.

Erik has written with and for giants like Babyface and Teddy Riley. He’s the principle writer for the song
“No Air” with Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown which garnered him his first Grammy Nomination and a BMI song of
the year award. No Air was in the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 27 weeks and #1 in 13 countries. It was the
single biggest song in the world for the year 2008.

His work as a producer spreads across practically all genre, He’d done Jazz in Berlin, Gospel in Alabama,
Country in Nashville, Pop in Sweden, and the list goes on.
Erik is internationally published as a fashion photographer. He’s also a product, portrait, fine art, landscape, and
