I love meats on a stick, but it is hard to find places that have them until now. Drastix is not only a quaint artsy restaurant with a Winwood feeling and the theme of beautiful Hollywood, but the food is awesome. A pure explosion of flavors to your taste buds. I had to try all. Their soups, scallops skewers, and desserts (must try the sampler) leaves you coming back for more. You can tell that there's a Chef in the house preparing your delicious food and the service is exceptional. A must, if you are in the Hollywood area.

So excited about this place! We are Hollywood residents and are always up for a new restaurant and Drastix did not disappoint. It is kind of hidden over on Tyler Street, not on the main drag of downtown Hollywood so it's easy to miss. There is free parking one block over on Polk Street, and metered parking along Tyler.

No outdoor seating, which I think would enhance the restaurant and make it more popular as well as more visible, but maybe eventually that will come. Drastix inside is very attractive. Murals by a local artist, tables that are being refinished with artwork, cool bench style booths (rather than gross velvet cushions)...The place was funky and fun and looked very clean. All staff wore masks.

The food? The food was freaking great! It is mainly a shish kebab kind of place but there are also options for bowls, and several fun appetizers and sides. Lots of vegetarian options as well as different kinds of proteins which you can mix or just stick to one. I love the emphasis on vegetables! Everything was fantastic. The macaroni cheese bites were very tasty and easy to cut in portions to share. Those garlic shrimp were out of control good, next time I will order two plates. Everybody loved their kebabs. I had the bowl and almost opted not to have any rice in it but the rice was perfect, just the right amount of sticky! The waitress recommended doing only half rice because otherwise it's just too much for most people. So I got half salad and half rice and I threw in extra grilled veggies. Very healthy option that was big enough to eat leftovers the next day for lunch. I think my favorite thing about this place is the sauce selection. That makes it so much fun. They make their own sauces, and several were crowdpleasers among the five of us. Everybody agreed that the chimichurri was the best. A close second was the Parmesan Mojito. The almond mint one was also tasty. We didn't love the coconut peanut which is disappointing because I actually love that sauce at other restaurants but this one was just OK, the spicy option with better flavor than the mild. Oh I forgot to mention the Mulligatawny soup! She gave us a free sample of it and it was so tasty that we ordered a sampler bowl for all of us to try. It is a cream-based curry soup that has excellent flavor but I doubt it leaves you with much of an appetite afterwards so I would not get a bowl of it unless that is all you are planning to eat. We got the dessert sampler which I think is a great idea so everybody can try a little of everything. Most of us liked the bread putting the best, with the mochi bites another crowd pleaser. Mixed reviews on the pound cake bites and pumpkin bites (although I thought all 4 were tasty). Their coffees, whether iced or hot, were decadent. Apparently they get the beans from a local establishment down the street. Love that.

The service was very friendly and attentive although a little slow, but we were not in a hurry and they lose no points whatsoever.

This place has a great backstory, ask the staff about it. It has only been open for two months and I really hope that it survives. Go check it out today!

Hands down my favorite spot in Hollywood. The vibe, amazing art on the walls, mouth watering food and service is absolutely everything. Gina the owner is absolutely the sweetest, she interacted with all of her customers for friendly. We walked in to their paint night event which I was so sad to miss but felt so comfortable waiting on our delicious bowls. Definitely worth the drive, please do not hesitate to try. It’s so hard to find a place with keto friendly options. I’ll definitely be a regular , haha. I’m actually sitting outside of their restaurant writing this review waiting for my second order a day later. They are well deserving of this 5 star review.

Best street eats in Hollywood! Continuously putting out excellent food! Always something new to try also. You can see all of the specials on their website which changes fairly often. Website is always kept up to date so it makes it easy to find new creations from the chef.

I stumbled upon this restaurant after the Artwalk tour. I am so glad I did. It's a small, friendly, casual spot with plenty atmosphere and good street food. The lemonade was good. It had a good flavor. I enjoyed it. It was very refreshing. They had some samples for us after the tour. That was so nice. They all where delicious. I liked them so much I came back the next day lol

For starters we had the mac&cheese bites. They where really cheese good. Coated with a good crunchy batter. They tasted good. The mulligatawny soup. That was diferent good. I had never had anything like this before. It was think. Full of interesting flavors. The kind of food that leaves you guessing and wondering in a good way. My tongue just kept picking up spices that my brain was to slow to recognize. It was really good. The pork stuffed mushrooms and reason I came back lol are my favorite thing. This little things are real good. A must try in my opinion.

I had the stake with portobello mushrooms . It came with a side. I chosed Jasmin rice. The stake came in a skewer. It tasted great. It was nicely seasoned and very tender. The mushrooms good as well. You chose a sauce. Chimichurry sauce was advised so I picked it and it was good. The rice was delicious too.

If you like spicy things. You can spice it up. They put hot spices to the sauces. If you ask for it. The French fries here are really good. I got try them from a friend. They are seasoned fries. They are also well fried with a good crunch. We chose the sampler for dessert. It's basically all the desserts with fresh homemade whipped cream. I liked all of them. I can't pick which one was better. They all where different and good.

I had a great time here. The service is very friendly and the food yummy.

Can't say anything bad about this place. We were on vacation for a week and came here twice. The owners are super friendly and engaging. The food is affordable and filling (really good portions.) And the chef's creations are unlike anything you've tasted.

If you haven't tried this place then you're missing out.

Food was fresh and flavorful. I live the different sauces for the skewers and bowls. The chicken with pineapple skewer is delicious. Highly recommend for eat in or take out.
